If you are looking for an in-depth deception game this isn't it but I would recommend Deceit on steam it is free and framing is viable/necessary. If you are looking for a fun short deception game without too many mechanics then this is a pretty good one. Having all the skins is cool too the steam version comes with them. Like I said this game is free on mobile so people will respond slower or have sloppier typing than pc. Also a lot of less than smart people play the game to either troll or just make dumb calls they think are good. Definitely worth $5 though for the time you can get out of it. In terms of gameplay crew is pretty simple, do the mindless tasks you are assigned and try to find out who is killing the rest of the crew. Two tools the crew have are the admin console which shows how many people are in each room (including corpses but it won't tell you they are dead) and the security cams gives live footage of 4 hallways. Impostor is a lot more fun I would say because you need to optimize sabotaging, killing, and venting so that the crew won't know its you. It is severely important to use all the abilities the impostor has in order to minimize risk of people knowing its you. Taking a vent to an empty room is a much better idea than walking out and risking someone walking passed you to find the body. Spectating is honestly sub-par and should have a function where you can teleport to players incase you lose them or some type of map where you can see where everyone is. Also ghosts need to do their objectives in order for the living to win so if you have a troll that dies and stays in the game but does not do objectives you still need to vote out impostor to win and can't just finish the tasks. If you are getting this game as a party game with friends I heavily recommend not using voice chat while you play. The limited communication makes it so much more of a tense situation and I have seen people play with voice chat. It is not too fun for impostors. "Im with X if I die its him" doesn't really have counterplay. Or if you do talk just do it during situations where you can type. You can also make lobbies with more than one impostor but only one can win just fine and most of the lobbies only offer 1 impostor.In terms of content you only get the 1 map, 1 style of gameplay and skins. Would it be cool if the devs keep supporting the game and add more content like skins/maps/tasks/mechanics? Yah of course but I don't think this is the type of game that does that in the long run. If they do it would be very cool and add to the amazing game but I don't see it happening.. Among Us' is a great indie game with similarities to the old Space Station 13 and Mafia. The game has online play, but is aimed more at parties of friends, as this is where the game really shines. Apparently features cross platform support for PC Android and iOS, though I have only tried the online PC version. Your crew of up to 10 is tasked with the job of performing various errands around the ship, in order to successfully win the game by completing a sufficient number of these objectives. However, one or more of these team members will be an 'Imposter'. The Imposter(s) must prevent the crew from completing these tasks and can do this with a combination of murdering your innocent, industrious crew-mates, and sabotaging the ship in various ways. The imposter is also able to use the many vents around the ship, in order to slither away from a crime scene, or to emerge at an opportune time. The non-imposter crew, are allowed to vote to expel a member of the ship during emegency meetings, which can be called by any member of your team to discuss the events. The trick comes not just in figuring out who IS the Imposter, but convincing your team that you are telling the truth. I have seen the witness of a bloody murder expelled into space, on the accusation of the Imposter, a good number of times. While it may not be great to be the first in the group to die, it is very entertaining watching the rest of the mystery play out among your team, as you will already know the killer, and see if they can figure it out, or if they will turn on each other and fall prey to the Imposter(s) one by one. The player base isn't the largest, however, as you only actually require up to 10 players, this shouldnt pose much of an issue, and i was able to find multiple games i could join. The game also seems to have a good number of Spanish speaking players, so is a great way to brush up on your Spanish language skills. Players can easily watch idle by to see who gets scan, and seeing as the imposter cannot be scanned he/she is easlily found out. There should be more options to the imposter, including being scanned, and actually doing the sabatoging instead of just pressing on the imposter's map to sabotage. There should also be a cool down for alert. Many players abuses the Alert button. For example, red called for an alert meeting, and players choose who to vote off, then continue playing, but purple decide to hit alert again right after the pervious meeting. There should be a cool down for alerts so players can not abuse the alert button. I also think the map nad ma player should be a tad bigger to make the game more interesting, and bigger.
